We were visited by the Parliament Education Service for a workshop. We enjoyed our debate.
Year 5 have enjoyed making and glazing their Mayan coil pots – which were traditionally used for drinking hot chocolate.
All of the children in Year 5 had the opportunity to see how our school sculpture was coming along. The children were able to ask Mr Cotton questions about his profession as an artist and excitedly searched for the letter that they personally designed.
Year 5 have enjoyed their first fife lesson.
In forest schools Year 5 built and lit a fire then toasted marshmallows. They loved it!
