The children in Reception were amazed when they arrived at school today- a dinosaur had been in our classroom over the weekend and left huge footprints! It had even laid some frozen eggs! The children are having a brilliant morning taking part in archaeological digs, handling dinosaur eggs and measuring the footprints with cubes. What a fun week this will be!
Reception were very lucky today to be visited by our local police officers, Liz and Jackie. They talked to us about their special equipment and different ways that the police can help us. The children loved trying on the police hats and holding handcuffs.
