Sports Day

We were so lucky with the weather today, considering the downpour that we had yesterday.  I must say what a fantastic atmosphere it was this morning.  It is always great to see the children working together in their house teams and shows what a special bond the children have at St Michael’s from the oldest…

Thank you to St Michael’s Church

Our Year 6 were treated to a tea party on Friday afternoon by some of the congregation of St Michael’s Church to celebrate the end of their tests for the week.  Thank you so much for thinking of our children, it was very much appreciated.

English awards

Our first Gold awards for the reading challenge were handed out in praise service this morning.                           Congratulations to all of these children who were named by the teachers as Star Writers of the term.

Gary’s new home!

Thank you to Mr Hartland, who has supplied us with a new home for our Reception class pet.  He certainly seems happy with his new environment, after his last home sadly cracked.  The African Land Snail was named ‘Gary’ by the Reception class.
