Science week activities in Year 4. The children loved all of the experiments.
Year 2 had a fantastic Science day! They have been busy hunting for mini-beasts and then making them a wonderful bug hotel. They have also had a great time been pond dipping. They finished the day by looking very closely at things using our new microscopes.
For science week Reception have been trying to make a volcano explode! They whooped with excitement as we added vinegar to baking soda and washing up liquid. It was fantastic to see the coloured lava erupting from the top. What a fun experiment!
Our children have really enjoyed working with Ian Cotton, a sculptor, who we have commissioned to work on an art project. Look out for the sculpture after Easter.

Our Junior Dancers put on a fantastic show at Abbeywood school yesterday evening. They were so excited to perform and did an excellent job. Thank you very much to Miss Paine for all her hard work in choreographing the dance as well as organising costumes.
Congratulations to these Star Writers – they will enjoy spending their £5 book voucher.
