Harmonica Festival

Well done to all of the children who performed at the Harmonica Festival over half term.  Jane, their teacher, was so impressed with them all and had received some lovely feedback about them all. We are very proud of you!

Treasure Island Workshop Resources

Dear parents and children I hope you’re all enjoying the break.  The teachers worked hard yesterday planning out some activities for next term.  In the first week of returning the Year 2 will be making musical instruments for their desert island.  Mrs Ithier has requested if you could bring in some materials from home to…

Treasure Island

This week a theatre company visited us to perform Treasure Island. This will be our learning focus for next term. It was a fantastic way to begin our new topic and we are all now very excited (including staff!) Here are just a few photos of the afternoon.

New Curriculum Parent Guides

Many of you are aware that all classes are now working on the new curriculum.  There is a lot of new content that has been added compared with the previous National Curriculum.   This has been discussed at length in the maths and English workshops, as well as at Parents’ forum meetings.  We know that some of you were unable to attend…

Shaun the Sheep Trail

Michaelmas Service

Well done to the Year 3 and 4 children for leading our Michaelmas service at St Michael’s church on Friday.  We had wonderful weather to walk there and back and would like to thank all of the adults who accompanied us on our walk.  These events would not be able to go ahead without you. …

Wessex Water Cheque

Thank you so much to Wessex Water who presented us in service with a cheque for £450.  This will go towards the development of the conservation area, where we are looking to create a new pond, with a wooden stage to that children are able to go pond dipping.  We are also looking at putting in pathways…
